Southwest Farms, Inc.

Southwest Farms, Inc. is an expanding propagation and production facility in Pueblo, Colorado located on the front range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. We specialize in producing top quality, ornamental and native grass liners in addition to perennials flowers.  We have around one million plant units in over 60 varieties of ornamental grasses and around 100 perennial varieties in our fields and greenhouses. Our membership in PlantSelect®, Colorado Nursery Growers Association ‘CNGA’, Turf Producers International ‘TPI’, and the Home Builders Association keeps us informed on industry news.

Legacy Buffalograss

This grass came into the market in 2000 and changed the way the world looked at buffalograss. It produces a narrow, soft leaf blade with a dark blue/green color and grows to a maximum height of 3 to 5 inches. Legacy is the most widely adapted of all of the buffalograss cultivars. 

 

Prestige Buffalograss

Prestige has a medium green color and grows to 4 to 6 inches tall with a dense stand of turf. It is the top rated buffalograss in the latest national evaluation program. Its broad insect and disease resistance makes it an excellent choice.
